Scott McLoughlin
With more than 25 years of successful sales and management experience Scott has worked in fields as diverse as media, energy, training and development, management consulting, information technology services, enterprise software and Internet technology. Scott has a unique blend of skills that includes setting the sales direction for “turn-around” situations, start-up companies, and large Fortune 500 corporations.
He has held senior sales and management positions at Associated Press, Computer Task Group and Polaroid Graphic Imaging, as well as at start-up companies. He was hired early in his technology career by venture capitalist Ben Rosen of Sevin Rosen Management.
Scott has vast experience in working with Business-to-Business (B2B) clients who want to develop their sales force. He brings relevant experience to a wide range of clients including manufacturers, distributors and service organizations. He focuses on achieving performance improvements through targeted sales skills training, developing inside and field sales teams, structured involvement of sales management and executives and sales process improvement. His successful sales management track record includes expertise in the field of petroleum products; he currently serves as Outsourced VP of Sales for several major petroleum & lubricants distributors. Scott has worked with hundreds of petroleum and lubricant reps around the United States and Canada, delivering effective sales training programs. He recently developed “The Complete Sales Manager Program,” which is being rolled out by Exxon Mobil worldwide.
Scott McLoughlin is well versed in strategic planning, creating, segments and growing markets. He also has experience in key account planning and opportunity management. He served as Director of Printing Technology Management at Drexel University’s College of Media, Art, Architecture & Design.
